Fallout New Vegas XBox 360 freezing a lot?

I have had Fallout New Vegas since it has been released and have had little trouble with it but i have just stared playing it again and it well freeze every ten minutes into the game or when i get into a battle with something. I have Boone and Rex following me could it be a glitch? Or does it just freeze a lot with everyone?
