Fallout New Vegas Help?

I had Boone and ED-E with me at the Quarry, i was on a quest where i had to get the eggs for Red Lucy at the thorn. Once i got the eggs i turned around and ed-e was gone. Boone was there but no ed-e i cant find him and i cant get into caesars tent with that guy there as he says i still have someone following me, i have sent Boone back to Novac. Ive gone back to the Quarry but cant find him, he doesnt appear on my map either.
