Sharp Upper Left Back Pain?

This afternoon i got this weird stabbing sharp pain right next to my spine on the left side of my body. It only hurts when i touch that area or when i stretch. I never got this pain before and i'm not sure what it is. I looked at my back and there's not a rash, cut, or red marks. Any ideas on what it is??????????
